Brand strategy, Rebranding, and Website development
UNIDO contracted Orangeswitch with the objective to re-brand a government body it was supporting, Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority. Accordingly we assessed the mandates of the authority to help us redefine the brand strategy and brand direction. This newly developed brand strategy was translated into visual presentation of the authority.
UNIDO understood the value of strengthening the Ethiopian coffee and tea export sector. They reached out to us with the anticipation that Ethiopian Coffee and Tea authority would be a base to enforce the visibility of Ethiopia’s products. With the understanding of leading by example as well from the authority, they jumped right in when UNIDO offered to support in the rebranding.
Our interaction started with a branding workshop which helped us align expectations. Through the branding process with the authority, we discovered that the core essence of the authority was sharing Ethiopia’s gift with the world. Hence, the re-branding process allowed them to redefine the authority’s brand strategy, direction and recognize the value it provides which also directed the visual presentation for a strong government body brand. Additionally, we developed an interactive website for the authority to help their target audiences easily access their resources and share insight about the local market to international buyers.
