Among the variety of rich coffee flavors in Ethiopia, the Gesha coffee variety is one of the most sought out coffee beans in the world. Known to grow indigenously in the mountains of Southwestern Ethiopia in the heart of the Mente tribe, Gesha coffee is among the most authentic, rich and magical in the world. Gorigesha is cultivating these unique beans to share with the international market. The partners approached us to develop a brand that appreciates this unique premium product in an authentic, organic, grounded with an Ethiopian element.
We dived into understanding the Gesha variety and what it means for the consumer, the Gesha village and Ethiopia as a whole. In consideration of those pillars, we created a bold, earthy, culturally grounded, organic brand. The visual experience surpasses capturing a coffee element but also reflects the meaning of living a life that matters every day through the magical Gesha coffee.
